The Overflow

I have realized that I do not have within me the ability to act in servanthood and love to all those around me by my own power. It is out of the overflow of God's love for me that I can give to others. When I don't access on the daily basis the gift that God gives me, I fall short, and those around me suffer. I'm so thankful for the opportunities that have been presented to me this past week to open my eyes to this reality. I have worked tirelessly on my own to try and serve and love, and it has been futile because I run out of steam very early and very easily. However, when I seek God first in all things, it is amazing the energy and ability I have to serve those around me.
